Download VERIFIED 1 (Installer ONLY)

There are a few reasons for failure, and no easy way to know which is the underlying cause. If you do encounter a failure, you will need to re-download the entire file again each time you try to fix the failure. As the latest version is 8 gigabytes, I didn't much enjoy this approach.

The browser seems to have JavaScript disabled. This technique is used for showing the actual download link. If you want to download Apache OpenOffice anyway, click this text to choose from the alternative download webpage. You will have to navigate to the version/binaries/language subfolder and download the file named Apache_OpenOffice_version_os_platform_package_language.ext. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Windows 11 lets you run the antivirus program of your choosing, and Bitdefender Antivirus Free for Windows is the perfectly optimized option if you need a powerful antivirus software loaded only with the bare-bones protection features that every computer needs.

LET'S BE CLEAR. THE #1 most common issue in setting up PinUP is your ANTI-VIRUS. If you use the Windows GUI and turn off defender (windows will AUTOMATICALLY turn it back on after a while). The only method is to ADD exceptions for PinUP folder and your virtual pinball folders (or remove permanently/entirely anti-virus through group-policies or other methods).

It's essential that you don't have ANY of your monitors in Windows positioned in a NEGATIVE value position. This means your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc screens should only be positioned ONLY to the RIGHT, and BELOW your main display. NOT to the LEFT or ABOVE your main display! Your main display should be your playfield. This is to avoid potential problems with PuP and other programs as well.

After you have the Popper files installed and updated, there are numerous Themes for Popper you can choose from: T-ARC, T-BAR, Landscape, Portrait, 4K, HD, Desktop T-ARC, Deskop T-BAR. You can download them here:

The download page provides the basic steps needed to install CIAO 4.15.1 and CALDB 4.10.4 into a new conda environment. For additional details, including how to upgrade an existing environment, users should read the Installing CIAO with conda thread.

CIAO is only available as Intel x86-64 binaries. Users of Apple Silicon-based systems (M1, M1 Pro/Max/Ultra, and M2) must use an Intel x86-64 MacOS version of python. Depending on the version/architecture of conda that is installed, some users may get an error message that looks like this:

WSL enables users to have a seamless transition across the two environments without the need for a resource intensive traditional virtual machine and to improve productivity and develop using tools and integrate their workflow. More importantly WSL 2 enables applications that were hitherto only available on Linux to be available on Windows. WSL 2 support for GPU allows for these applications to benefit from GPU accelerated computing and expands the domain of applications that can be developed on WSL 2.

The CUDA WSL-Ubuntu local installer does not contain the NVIDIA Linux GPU driver, so by following the steps on the CUDA download page for WSL-Ubuntu, you will be able to get just the CUDA toolkit installed on WSL.

If you installed the toolkit using the WSL-Ubuntu package, please skip this section. Meta packages do not contain the driver, so by following the steps on the download page for Ubuntu, you will be able to get just the CUDA toolkit installed on WSL.

This usually indicates that the right Windows OS build or Microsoft Windows Insider Preview Builds (Windows 10 only), WSL 2, NVIDIA drivers and NVIDIA Container Toolkit may not be installed correctly. Review the known issues and changelog sections to ensure the right versions of the driver and container toolkit are installed.

Installing or updating Python on your computer is the first step to becoming a Python programmer. There are a multitude of installation methods: you can download official Python distributions from Python.org, install from a package manager, and even install specialized distributions for scientific computing, Internet of Things, and embedded systems.

Full Installer: This approach involves downloading Python directly from the Python.org website. This is recommended for intermediate and advanced developers who need more control during the setup process.

If you have a 64-bit system and would like to switch from 64-bit Python to 32-bit (or vice versa), then you can just uninstall Python and then reinstall it by downloading the other installer from Python.org.

Not every Linux distribution has a package manager, and not every package manager has Python in its package repository. Depending on your operating system, building Python from source code might be your only option.

Method 3: Check your version of Windows Installer, and upgrade to the latest version if necessaryImportant This method applies to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, and Windows Server 2008 only.

If you are installing a program from the Internet, redownload the file (select Save instead of Run in the download dialog box), save the file to a folder on a local hard disk on your computer or to other removable media. Then, run the installation from that location.

  • Using the emulator or the USB cable requires the use of a program named aiStarter. This program is the helper that permits the browser to communicate with the emulator or USB cable. The aiStarter program was installed when you installed the App Inventor Setup package. You do not need aiStarter if you are using only the wireless companion. On a Mac, aiStarter will start automatically when you log in to your account and it will run invisibly in the background.

On Windows, there will be shortcuts to aiStarter from your Desktop, from the Start menu, from All Programs and from Startup Folder. If you want to use the emulator with App Inventor, you will need to manually launch aiStarter on your computer when you log in. You can start aiStarter this by clicking the icon on your desktop or using the entry in your start menu. The aiStarter Icon on WindowsTo launch aiStarter on Windows, double click on the icon (shown above). You'll know that you've successfully launched aiStarter when you see a window like the following:

(Don't be afraid of the unstable/experimental stuff here. The priorities are low enough that it's never going to automatically install any of that stuff. Even the testing branch will behave, as it's only going to install the packages you want to be in testing.)

If it's getting too hairy (like it's trying to upgrade libc or the kernel or some other huge core system), then you can either reject those upgrade paths or just back out of the initial upgrade altogether. Remember that it's only going to upgrade stuff to testing/unstable if you allow it to.

If your selection of packages is more involved or the installation will be repeated on multiple machines, you might consider setting up a private repository that mirrors a subset of the official repositories. This requires a bit of work to configure the repository but the reward is easy to maintain with a bare minimum of configuration on each client and repeatable results when doing dozens of installations. I find this helpful even when only one or two packages are being installed, and use this method for automating and maintaining cloud installs. A single server on a cheap VPS can handle dozens of private repositories.

Another option is to download instead the source package from testing. APT can auto-build the source package after downloading it. This way, your stable packages will not be affected by testing updates. The only trade-off is that it will take more time than just downloading and installing the binary package.

If you want to upgrade a previous version of calibre Portable, download the latest version of the installer from here and run it, choosing the location of your previous calibre Portable install. The installer will automatically update calibre Portable.

calibre Portable only remembers libraries that are placed inside the portable folder. So while you can open any library located anywhere on your computer with calibre Portable, it will not be remembered on restart unless it is located in the portable folder (i.e. in the same place as the "Calibre Library" folder).

Code can be checked out from the Git servers via anonymous read-only access. Development code can also be checked out from the Asterisk and libpri Gerrit repositories, and DAHDI Git repository. Below are example commands you might use to download the source from the various repositories. 041b061a72
