Webinar - A Trauma-Informed Approach to Honoring Play

Children make sense of their world through play. When children experience adversity,

 they may express big emotions and play in ways that make educators uncomfortable. 

In this session, educators will explore stress, adversity, trauma, big emotions and how to support children’s emotional learning.

 We will think about the educator's role within the different types of play and get the opportunity to think about play partnering outside 

of their comfort zone (rough and tumble and weapon play) and think about ways to honour all types of play and support pro-social learning.
