Before You Register
These sessions will focus on the most demanding domain of our profession as early childhood educators: guiding children's behaviour.
We will look at strategies and approaches that highlight positive prevention and
intervention and reaffirm our role in helping children with their emotional, social and cognitive growth,
in ways that foster self-esteem and self-concept in their early years, and going forward.

Suitable for ECE students, parents, adult instructors/administrators, novice,
intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals, working with children of all ages and abilities,
from infants/toddlers to school age children.
Facilitator(s): Vesna Krcmar
Vesna is an Early Childhood Educator, as well as a certified Positive Discipline instructor and experience facilitator.
She has worked as a Vancouver CCRR Child Care Services Consultant at Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre and
currently she is their Outreach Professional Development Coordinator.
She brings a rich background in working with 0-5 year old children in both family child care and
group care settings and as a Westcoast’s facilitator for various courses and workshops.
