Engaging Storytelling for Literacy Development in an ECE Program
Online Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am
In this workshop participants will explore the importance of early literacy and leave with information
based on research as well as practical, creative, and inexpensive strategies to enhance literacy in a childcare setting.
We will talk about how dramatic play, music, songs and storytelling can be used to enhance literacy skills.
Participants will also explore the important role a caregiver plays in building and supporting children's literacy development.
