Art is a great way to get children’s creativity going! Natural materials stimulate children's creativity and 

imagination as they can be used in play in many ways.

 Natural objects with open-ended possibilities often encourage children to engage in richer play experiences and 

help them gain skills which will allow them to express their ideas visually and orally with confidence. 

Natural materials have a sensory benefit. They can be found in almost any street, any area and in any city all around the world.  During this workshop participants will be provided many ideas of on-going and student-driven 

open-ended art projects with natural materials, will discuss and understand the process as well as have key objectives in place.

 Participants will plan interesting and fun activities for children with natural materials and share with others. 

Participants will learn the importance of natural materials in children’s life, what art with natural materials look like, 

how to plan and create an environment for learning that support children’s development,

 be a facilitator and avoid giving direction, make sure that every child has an opportunity to experience success and 

learn according to individual needs, styles, and levels of ability.
